About the role
We're looking for great intern teammates that are willing to dive in, work hard, and learn. This is an in-person role based in Redwood City, CA, and is planned as a 6+ month program.
Technologies we use: Unreal Engine, C++, Game Development, Git.
Here are some examples of projects you might work on:
- Work using the Game Engine itself, doing things such as adding new enemies to fight, or building out objects players can build with. (Walls, Windows, Doors, etc.)
- You could be adding animations to the characters running around in the world so that when voice chat is used, for example, their avatar looks like it's talking.
- You could be writing small contained features such as adding functionality to send messages in Discord whenever a player logs on or writing a python script to collect and analyze player data.
- You could dive into the C++ gameplay logic and make fixes or small features there such as new Player Buffs like double jump.
You should take this job if you:
- Passionate about video games
- Want to see what a early stage startup is like.
- Want to have visible, critical impact on weekly releases.
- Enjoy minimal process.
