About the role
We are looking for a Lead VOIP Engineer with 5+ years of experience to lead the process of setting up and scaling a VOIP infrastructure landscape. This person will be a trailblazer, willing to push back and show conviction, challenging existing ways of thinking to ensure the most efficient and pragmatic solutions are implemented for the business. They will be comfortable in ambiguity and demonstrate ownership of VOIP infrastructure projects from inception to high-throughput production.
What will you be doing?
- Design, deploy, and maintain FreeSWITCH and Kamailio-based VoIP solutions.
- Configure and troubleshoot SIP protocols, RTP streams, and media gateways.
- Monitor and optimize high-load production FreeSWITCH and VOIP systems.
- Ensure security, scalability, and redundancy in the VoIP infrastructure.
- Implement WebRTC-based voice and video solutions.
