Job Application for Principal GTM Analyst at Huntress Back to jobs Principal GTM Analyst United States of America Apply Reports to: Director, Analytics Location: Remote US Compensation Range: $180,000 to $195,000 base plus bonus and equity What We Do: Cybercrime is growing, and more businesses are getting hit by threats that used to target only the biggest organizations. That pushes defenders like us to operate at the highest level, and it deepens our need for good people who want to make a meaningful impact. Founded in 2015 by former NSA cyber operators, Huntress is a remote-first team working to make enterprise-grade cybersecurity accessible to businesses of all sizes. We work closely with security teams and service providers protecting complex environments, often without the time or headcount to handle it all. That’s why we build our technology in-house and back it with a 24/7 human-led Security Operations Center (SOC). As a result, our platform is never disconnected from the experts who manage it, ensuring our customers' protection. Huntress now secures more than 5M endpoints and 11M identities worldwide. Those numbers keep growing because more businesses rely on us to help carry the load and operate with more confidence. Every day, you can see that commitment in how we stand with our customers and how we show up for each other. What You’ll Do: As a Principal Analyst embedded within a fast-moving Marketing and GTM organization, you will serve as the connective tissue between data and strategy — translating complex, ambiguous business questions into sharp insights that shape how the company grows. In this role, you won't wait for the brief to arrive; you'll originate the ideas worth pursuing, pressure-test assumptions, and deliver recommendations that drive real marketing efficiency and measurable growth. Expect to work at the intersection of data, strategy, and storytelling — collaborating closely with Marketing, Sales, and cross-functional GTM partners on everything from campaign performance and pipeline attribution to customer segmentation and market opportunity sizing. The best person for this role doesn't just answer hard questions — they know which questions are worth asking in the first place. If you thrive on turning complexity into clarity, generating ideas that move the needle, and influencing decisions at the highest level, this is the role for you. Responsibilities: Partner with Marketing and GTM leaders to surface growth opportunities and translate data into strategic recommendations — with minimal direction needed. Ideate on complex business problems that matter — proactively identifying where analytical thinking can unlock marketing efficiency, accelerate pipeline, or improve growth outcomes. Own end-to-end analysis across key GTM priorities: campaign effectiveness, funnel performance, pipeline attribution, customer segmentation, and market opportunity sizing. Design and maintain dashboards that give Marketing and GTM teams clear visibility into performance, enabling faster and more confident decision-making. Deliver high-impact ad hoc analyses quickly and clearly — moving from raw question to actionable insight without sacrificing rigor. Develop compelling data narratives and executive-ready communications that tell a clear story and drive alignment across stakeholders. Elevate the team's analytical capabilities by championing best practices, introducing AI-assisted workflows, and helping business partners ask sharper questions. What You Bring To The Team: 7+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or a related field, with demonstrated impact supporting marketing, GTM, or growth-oriented teams within a SaaS organization. A strategic, generative mindset — you don't just solve the problem in front of you; you frame the right problem, generate options, and push toward the solution that moves the needle on growth and efficiency. Proficiency with BI tools (e.g. Hex, Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or similar) — you can build a dashboard that becomes the team's source of truth, not just a pretty visual. The ability to churn out high-quality ad hoc analyses under pressure, scoping ambiguous questions and delivering clear answers with speed and rigor. Hands-on experience leveraging AI tools and agentic workflows to accelerate analysis and scale output — this is a genuine differentiator, not a checkbox. A track record of operating independently in unstructured environments, defining your own workplan, and delivering without heavy guidance or oversight. A storytelling edge: you present findings in ways that are clear, compelling, and built for decision-making — recommendations land, not just reports. What We Offer: 100% remote work environment - since our founding in 2015 Generous paid time off policy, including vacation, sick time, and paid holidays 12 weeks of paid parental leave Highly competitive and comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits plans 401(k) with a 5% contribution regardless of employee contribution Life and Disability insurance plans Stock options for all full-time employees One-time $500 reimbursement for building/upgrading home office Annual allowance for education and professional development assistance $75 USD/month digital reimbursement Access to the BetterUp platform for coaching, personal, and professional growth Huntress is committed to creating a culture of inclusivity where every single member of our team is valued, has a voice, and is empowered to come to work every day just as they are.
