About the role
Moonware is seeking a full-stack minded Senior Software Engineer to contribute and own application development for HALO, our next-generation Ground Traffic Control platform.
This is a true end-to-end role: you’ll work directly with ground crews and airport stakeholders to understand operational needs, and design and build distributed systems that power mission-critical decisions on the tarmac. From backend services to internal tools and user-facing applications, you’ll own and deliver features across the stack. You’ll collaborate closely with hardware partners, frontline users, and engineering peers to ship reliable, high-performance software that drives efficiency in ground operations.
Responsibilities
Moonware builds products to coordinate and automate airfield operations in real time. Our flagship product, HALO, helps operations teams manage the aircraft turnaround process by assigning tasks, dispatching personnel and vehicles, tracking execution, and centralizing communication. HALO improves efficiency, reduces delays, and standardizes ground handling across the airfield. Our vision is to enable fully automated ground operations, and HALO provides the digital infrastructure to get there.
