About
the role We’re looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join Equitable Earth on a 6-month fixed-term contract with a primary focus on talent acquisition and onboarding. This role is ideal for someone with strong recruitment experience who also enjoys contributing to broader HR initiatives, including talent experience, development, and general people operations. You will play a key role in scaling our global team, ensuring a high-quality experience for candidates and new hires, while supporting other people-related projects as time permits. What you’ll do Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Lead full-cycle recruitment for both individual contributor and leadership roles across multiple international locations. Partner with hiring managers to define role
requirements, scope, and hiring strategy. Draft and publish job advertisements across relevant channels. Conduct proactive sourcing, headhunting, direct outreach, and pipeline development. Coordinate candidates throughout the recruitment process to ensure a seamless experience. Build and nurture talent pools to anticipate future hiring needs. Support onboarding to ensure new hires have a smooth and engaging start. People Ops Support Support selected parts of the employee lifecycle, including HR administration and compliance-related tasks. Contribute to HR process improvements. Support the people team's projects, such as offsite planning, learning initiatives, employee engagement, and talent culture actions. Help foster an inclusive, collaborative, and positive remote culture. What success looks like Within one month, you will build a solid understanding of the Carbon Markets, Equitable Earth’s culture and hiring priorities, while starting to support ongoing hires. Within three months, you will independently manage several recruitment processes end-to-end and contribute to strengthening our sourcing pipelines and candidate experience. Within six months, you will have meaningfully contributed to our hiring goals and supported selected people team projects beyond recruitment depending on priorities. What we value for this role Technical experience 5+ years of experience in talent acquisition in an international environment. Proven ability to attract top talent through proactive sourcing, networking, and headhunting. Experience managing full recruitment cycles. Exposure to broader HR topics (talent experience, learning & development or HR administration). Fluency in English is essential. French is highly desirable, additional languages are a plus. Knowledge of French labor law is a plus. Soft skills and mindset Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Autonomy, adaptability, and collaborative mindset. Detail-oriented with strong organisational and multitasking abilities. Please include the square root of 81 at the bottom right of your CV. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. Familiarity with HR tools (Teamtailor or any other ATS tool, Notion, Google Workspace, payroll platforms). A keen interest in environmental issues and an understanding of carbon markets is an advantage. A significant overlap with French business hours is required
