Duckbill (formerly The Duckbill Group) is a cloud cost management company that helps large enterprises understand, negotiate, and optimize their cloud spend across AWS, Azure, GCP, and AI token platforms. It combines expert consulting services with its proprietary software platform, Skyway, which ingests and normalizes billing and contract data at scale. Founded in 2019 and bootstrapped until a $7.75M seed round in February 2026, Duckbill's contrarian thesis is that the core enterprise problem is cloud cost unpredictability, not merely cost size. The company had negotiated over $5 billion in AWS contracts before taking outside capital.
