During college, he competed in the NCAA's for XC skiing, and was one of the top ultra-endurance cyclists in the world.

Nisal is the Co-founder and CTO of Phonely. With a background in Electronic and Telecommunications Engineering, he worked as a senior engineer in the AI team of a major telecommunications company for nearly three years, where he led projects on advanced AI solutions. Nisal then pursued a PhD at the University of Melbourne, focusing on explainable AI and AI for healthcare.
