JOB DESCRIPTION We are seeking a Firmware Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions for firmware-based systems. This role is responsible for ensuring firmware reliability, performance, and stability through scalable automation frameworks, continuous integration pipelines, and rigorous validation processes. The ideal candidate has strong experience in embedded systems, firmware testing, hardware-software integration, and automated test development. JOB SUMMARY Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for firmware validation Create automated tests for functional, regression, system, and integration testing Build tools and scripts to automate firmware validation and device interaction Develop and execute test plans for firmware running on microcontrollers and SoCs Validate firmware features Perform hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing Maintain automated test environments, hardware test benches, and device farms Monitor automated test results and analyze failures Identify, isolate, and document firmware defects Work closely with firmware team to troubleshoot issues and improve test coverage Document test procedures, frameworks, and validation strategies Contribute to quality metrics and release readiness assessments BASIC
