We are looking for a Partner Account Manager with 5+ years of experience to own the success and performance of Meter's installation partners across their entire lifecycle. You'll be someone who thrives on building strong relationships while holding a high bar for operational performance, joining a team that's scaling the infrastructure behind how the internet gets built for businesses.
What will you be doing?
Owning partner relationships end-to-end — becoming the first call partners make when issues arise and maintaining regular engagement cadences
Driving partner performance management by reviewing KPIs (on-time arrival, documentation completeness, installation quality) and having accountability conversations when partners miss the mark
Managing commercial conversations including crew expansions, pricing negotiations, and contract ownership for partner programs
Translating field insights from technicians and partners into product and operational improvements across the organization
Driving program-level improvements — launching new systems, scorecards, incentive programs, and onboarding processes that fundamentally improve how partners operate
Key Requirements
5+ years of experience in operations, vendor management, field operations, or service delivery (not purely software/SaaS account management)
Demonstrated experience working with external partners or vendors — managing performance, building relationships, and driving accountability
Evidence of shipping improvements end-to-end: launching new programs, systems, or processes (not just operating within existing ones)
Strong communication skills and poise — you'll be working with experienced tradespeople and partner leadership across different demographics
Willingness to travel 30-40% and be based in San Francisco (or willing to relocate)
