About the role
Responsibilities include developing SW and test automation scripts to support validations. The code development for test automation will be in C, C++ as well as in PowerShell, C#, Python or Pearl in Windows Server 2012/16/19 environment or BASH in Linux environment. 5+ of hands-on coding and scripting experience required (C/C++/C# in Windows Server 2012/16/19 or Linux) 3+ years of hands-on experience in solving hardware and software problems in PC, Enterprise server or Cloud Server required (X86 environment). Strong grasp of key technologies such as CPU, motherboards, BIOS, BMC, memory, PCIe, storage, and networking is required. Hands-on experience in developing test automation as well as skills to work in a laboratory environment is a plus. Passion for remote problem solving in cloud environment is essential. Individual effectiveness skills such as discipline, time management, decision making, planning, organizing work, and summarizing results through technical reports are required. Self-motivated individual must be able work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment. Must be able to plan work and work to a plan, adapting as necessary in a rapidly evolving Environment. Hands on experience in developing Diagnostic Code as well as skills to work in a laboratory environment is a plus. In-depth knowledge of hardware, software, and cloud technologies Experience with cloud-scale architecture and infrastructure Track record in working with Silicon vendors (CPU, SoC, FPGA, GPU, etc.) and ODMs
