Experience and Education Bachelor’s degree in Systems, Industrial, or Biomedical Engineering. 5 years of experience working in EHS. Bilingual: English / Spanish. Experience with the use and development/programming of Power BI software. Experience with integrated ISO 45001 and ISO 9001 systems. Extensive experience in the use of statistical systems, data analysis, and proactive statistical management to generate preventive impact. Knowledge, Skills, and Certifications Extensive experience and knowledge in statistical data analysis, use of computational formulas, and trend evaluation to provide continuous improvement proposals for the HSE management system. Extensive experience and knowledge in methodological investigation of workplace risks. Extensive experience and knowledge in conducting risk analysis. Excellent attitude, teamwork, and strong communication skills at all company levels. Knowledge of environmental, health, and safety legislation. MS Office and Google tools (Sites, Drive, Forms, etc.). Strong leadership skills and a proactive approach. Proven knowledge and experience in the regulatory framework of current environmental regulations. Main Duties and
Responsibilities Ensure effectiveness of the HSE management system integrated with all plant health, environmental, and safety programs. Verify compliance and adherence to EHS programs implemented within the company. Ensure availability of HSE management system information for different plant departments. Prepare analytical reports on trends for different organizational levels to provide quality information that supports a preventive action system. Participate in and ensure closure of corrective actions resulting from workplace risk assessment audits, Safety and Hygiene Committee audits, etc. Lead and coordinate external and internal EHS audits as required. Provide technical leadership and functional guidance to personnel to ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental criteria within the HSE management system. Participate in and ensure that risk analysis and assessment programs are carried out according to established procedures, promoting risk prevention. Ensure the quality and effectiveness of corrective action closures to strengthen the HSE management system. Ensure that work-related injury investigations are conducted according to procedures, demonstrating leadership in implementing resulting actions. Comply with safety rules according to job
responsibilities. Ensure compliance with legal
requirements applicable to the workplace. Manage the assigned budget according to area
responsibilities. Identify, analyze, and provide proposals based on data analysis to drive continuous improvement of the HSE management system. Continuously present results and improvement opportunities of the management system across different forums and organizational levels.
