Shape a blockbuster AAA title from the ground up. Your Role As a Senior Game QA Tester, you will actively contribute to the quality of our upcoming survival-to-city-builder RPG Solid River. The position involves hands-on testing of game builds throughout development, identifying bugs and gameplay issues with real impact on game priorities and improvements.
The role requires ownership of quality across complex gameplay systems, leveraging proven AAA game development QA experience.
Responsibilities Own the QA strategy for assigned systems and drive testing standards across
the team Mentor junior testers and help shape QA processes and best practices Test game builds and features across different development stages Identify, reproduce, and clearly describe bugs and unexpected behavior Verify bug fixes and support regression testing Create and maintain structured test cases for assigned areas Participate in regular playtests and provide actionable gameplay feedback Work closely with designers and programmers to clarify expected behavior Support internal and external playtests, including preparation and follow-up Take ownership of specific systems or test areas over time Contribute to improving QA workflows, documentation, and tooling
Requirements 2+ years of professional AAA game QA experience Experience testing PC or console games Passion for survival, city-building, or RPG games Fluent English (C1 or above) Ability to work onsite in Munich, Germany Valid EU work authorization What we offer The opportunity to work on an ambitious AAA title.
