We have refurbished over 100,000 e-bikes in just four years and are growing fast! We are looking for a Team Lead – Ops Specialist to oversee and guide our Operations Specialist team. This role is crucial in ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently while maintaining the highest quality standards in e-bike refurbishment and repair. As Teamlead you are the go-to expert for questions regarding the Inbound Moments, during Shipping or process improvements. Additionally, you will be responsible for fostering a positive team culture, ensuring workflow efficiency, and maintaining top-tier quality standards. Key
Responsibilities Lead & Mentor : Provide hands-on guidance, training, and support to a team of Ops Specialist, ensuring continuous skill development and high performance. Workflow & Efficiency : Oversee day-to-day operations, optimizing processes to ensure efficiency, productivity, and adherence to service timelines. Quality Control : Ensure every refurbished e-bike meets Upway’s rigorous quality standards before it reaches customers. Problem Solving & Innovation : Identify operational bottlenecks and implement process improvements to enhance performance and customer satisfaction. Collaboration & Communication : Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g. Mechanics and Customer service) to streamline operations and enhance service delivery. Health & Safety Compliance : Ensure all safety protocols and workshop best practices are adhered to, promoting a safe and organized work environment. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Previous team management experience, with a proven track record of mentoring and developing team members. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. A passion for sustainable mobility and a customer-first mindset Willingness to work in a team in a fast-paced environment PC skills (Email, Office etc.) You have good knowledge of English (German is a plus)
