About the Role
At Soff, engineers own tasks end-to-end. Every engineer is expected to be a part-time product manager. We're looking for people who want to grow and deeply care about their work!
What We're Looking For
- Full ownership — own and grow!
- Strong generalist — you're excellent on either the front end or back end, and comfortable working across the stack
- Front-end expertise with TypeScript and Next.js, including performance, UX, and clean architecture
- Back-end experience with TypeScript, building reliable, scalable systems
- Product-minded engineer who understands tradeoffs between speed, quality, and scale
- You've overcome hardships in life.
What You'll Do
- Build and own entire parts of the product
- Design, implement, and ship features end-to-end — from UI to APIs to infrastructure
- Help optimize and scale agents, improving latency, reliability, and cost
- Ship to prod every day, multiple times, and iterate based on real user feedback
