About the role
We are looking for an SEO Strategist / Growth SEO Lead with 5+ years of experience to own organic growth end-to-end at one of the fastest-growing voice AI startups ($60M ARR, 40 people). This is a high-ownership role where you'll be the in-house subject matter expert, building the SEO growth engine that has previously been managed by contractors and consultants. You'll design systems, build content moats, and create compounding leverage across Google search and AI-native discovery channels. We need someone whose primary focus and specialization is SEO — not a generalist who touches it occasionally.
What will you be doing?

Own SEO strategy end-to-end — defining how Retell wins across search and AI discovery channels (ChatGPT, Perplexity, etc.)

Build and execute the full SEO growth loop: from technical SEO and site architecture to content pillars and programmatic SEO at scale

Design scalable, repeatable content systems that turn one idea into hundreds of high-quality pages

Leverage AI tools deeply to generate, maintain, and evolve content workflows

Partner with product and engineering to embed SEO into product surfaces and drive organic growth from the product itself
