We are looking for a Founding Talent hire with 4-6 years of recruiting experience to build the recruiting engine from scratch at a fast-growing, AI-native insurance startup. You'll be the first in-house recruiter, working directly with the founders to scale the team from 40 to 60+ employees within the next year. ClaimSorted is backed by Y Combinator, Atomico, and Eurazeo with $15M+ raised, and Series A is on the horizon. We need someone who has scaled a startup before — ideally growing a company from ~50 to 150+ employees — and thrives in a high-intensity, in-person environment where speed is everything.
What will you be doing?
Own the full hiring lifecycle end-to-end: intake with hiring managers, sourcing, screening, pipeline management, closing, and onboarding
Drive primarily outbound sourcing with high response rates
Nobody knows ClaimSorted yet, so you need to sell the mission to passive candidates
Partner closely with hiring managers and founders to understand business needs, calibrate on headcount, and ensure hires are delivered on time (e.g., five property claims handlers in two weeks)
Ensure candidates move through the pipeline fast: no one waits more than 2-3 business days for a decision AND maintaining a best-in-class candidate experience
Build and maintain ATS scorecards, interview automation, and recruiting infrastructure to reduce manual work as the company scales
ClaimSorted helps insurance companies remove the hassle of managing claims by enabling them to outsource their claim operations to us. This service is known as a Third Party Administrator (TPA). Unlike traditional TPAs, we blend AI and best-in-class experts to deliver a 5-star customer experience, minimise mistakes and speed up claim assessment.

No applications, no recruiter spam. Just the intro.
A few questions to make sure this role is the right shape for you. Two minutes.
I write the intro, send it to the founder, and handle the back-and-forth.
If they’re a yes, I book the chat. You show up — that’s the whole job-hunt.
