The mandate: Increase the founders' bandwidth and make the company move faster on its highest-leverage problems. The exact shape will evolve — we care more about the outcome you can own than preserving the boundaries of a job description.
What you will own:
- Take ambiguous company-building problems from question to outcome
- Build internal systems that make decisions and execution compound
- Move fluidly between customers, hiring, research, operations, and sales
Signals we look for: entrepreneurial drive, clear writing and thinking, unusually high ownership, breadth without loss of rigor.
Cadence: Three-month cycles (1 month intensive retreat + 2 months remote). Compensation: $80K–$120K + equity.
About Trellis
Trellis (legal entity: Trellis Tech, Inc.) builds AI agents that run operations end-to-end for short-term rental (STR) property managers. Its platform replaces the fragmented stack of 5–10 tools that operators typically use — covering guest communications, cleaning/maintenance dispatch, vendor coordination, owner updates, and claim filing — with a single agentic layer that maintains full operational context across all systems. Rather than fixed software, Trellis dynamically generates workflows and interfaces around how each operator runs their business.
