About SiPhox Health
SiPhox is bringing silicon-photonics diagnostics out of the central lab and into the home. We combine photonics, microfluidics, embedded systems, cloud software, and semiconductor-grade manufacturing to quantify multiple biomarkers in minutes on a coffee-maker-sized device; aiming to build the first mass-market photonic blood analyzer to improve chronic disease care and increase human health span.
The Opportunity
We’re hiring a Director of Software to oversee the software stack across our hardware, cloud services, mobile App, manufacturing and Lab infrastructure. You will provide technical leadership to our team of software and firmware engineers and work closely with other technical leaders to ensure the system meets SiPhox’s customers’ needs.
You will have significant software development experience on multi-disciplined projects with a major hardware element. You will be comfortable discussing cloud scaling strategies before switching to supporting a processor level troubleshooting embedded issue. You will be developing software yourself, whilst supporting a high performing team to meet the company’s needs.
This role will require occasional travel to manufacturing sites in the US and internationally.
This is an in-person role, including working closely with the hardware team at our lab.
