About the role
What we're looking for:
We're looking for a senior product leader with 8+ years of experience, including at least 3 years managing and developing PMs. You should have a track record of scaling consumer tech products at early-stage startups and be comfortable in a 50/50 player-coach role, diving into IC work while also setting multi-year strategy. A strong background in consumer social, dating apps, or other Gen Z-focused products is a huge plus.
What you'll do:
- Define and own the multi-year product vision and strategy across all of Somethings' product lines.
- Lead, manage, and develop a growing product team, scaling from two to four-plus product squads in the coming months.
- Work closely with design, engineering, and the CEO to translate strategy into a clear, prioritized roadmap and crisp product requirements.
- Drive execution clarity, ensuring squads know what matters most, why, and what success looks like.
- Lead hands-on IC work, from writing specs to synthesizing user research, to raise the quality bar on product craft and usability.
- Champion our users (teens and mentors) across the company, grounding every product decision in qualitative insight and behavioral data.
