Location: London, United Kingdom View all roles Apply now About the role As a Portfolio Operations Associate, you will be responsible for overseeing our growing portfolio of investments in the Rides vertical. This role is crucial for building scalable systems and processes to monitor performance, manage risk, and ensure the seamless execution of all post-investment activities. You will work closely with our business development team, central finance and operations functions, and portfolio companies to provide the operational backbone for our strategic initiatives. Main tasks and responsibilities: Monitor Financial Metrics: Track payments, CAPEX, loans, and accrued interest. Calculate investment returns (IRRs) and monitor financial covenants. Portfolio Data and Systems Management: Manage all portfolio data through our internal systems, ensuring accuracy and integrity for reporting and analysis. Performance Monitoring: Engage directly with portfolio companies to manage the reporting process, including the ingestion and validation of performance information. Stakeholder Reporting and Relations: Act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, managing reporting requirements and building effective working relationships. Process Design and Improvement: Take the lead on designing, documenting, and implementing new operational policies, processes, and controls to support our growing portfolio. Risk Management: Collaborate with our local and central operations teams to monitor the portfolio in line with our risk management frameworks. About you: You have a minimum of 4 years of experience in a relevant role, such as portfolio operations or corporate finance, gained at a bank, investment firm (PE, VC), or within a corporate strategy/development team. You have a solid understanding of accounting principles and corporate finance and are able to accurately interpret an income statement, balance sheet and cash flow statement. You are skilled in designing and implementing systems and processes, with experience writing policy and control documentation. You are a strong communicator with a demonstrated ability to build and manage strong relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders. You are proactive, highly organised, and results-driven, with a knack for managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Highly desirable: Experience with financial modelling and debt instruments, particularly financial leases. Experience is great, but what we really look for is drive, intelligence, and integrity.
