Suger is a revenue platform that helps our customers grow on the fastest-growing B2B sales channel: the cloud marketplaces of AWS, Azure, GCP, and Alibaba. Launched in 2022, we take the tech debt out of marketplace sales by providing an API-first approach to quote-to-cash, billing, and revenue workflows.
We’re now expanding our platform with AI-powered agents and infrastructure that automate and optimize complex enterprise workflows across pricing, contracting, billing, and compliance. Our AI systems operate at the core of customer revenue operations, requiring strong foundations in distributed systems, data integrity, and cloud-scale reliability.
We work with over 200 B2B customers, ranging from large enterprises like Snowflake and Intel to fast-growing startups like Glean and Vanta. We are a Series A startup backed by Threshold VC, Craft Ventures, Intel Capital, and Y Combinator.
We’re looking for Staff Software Engineers to design and scale the systems that drive both our platform and AI-driven products. As a Staff Engineer at Suger, you’ll push the boundaries of Suger’s newest technologies to enable interactions and automations that are not only functional, but delightful. We value proactive, product-minded engineers who can see the big picture while staying on top of the little details that define great products.
This role is based in Vancouver, Canada. We use a hybrid work model, with 4 days per week in the Downtown office.
In this role, you'll:
- Lead architecture and technical direction for core platform infrastructure and AI-powered customer-facing products, ensuring scalability, reliability, and long-term maintainability.
- Design and evolve AI agent infrastructure, including orchestration, observability, safety, and integration with existing enterprise systems.
