Your agent for the job search
Standout learns what you want, watches for roles that fit, and helps you get into the right conversations—without asking you to spend your day applying.
What Standout does
Standout is a talent agent for tech professionals. Your agent represents your interests, brings you relevant opportunities, and helps coordinate the next step when you want to meet a company.
1. Tell your agent about you
Start by sharing your background, the kind of work you enjoy, and what you want from your next role. The more current your profile and preferences are, the better your agent can represent you.
- Your experience, strengths, and recent work.
- The roles and problems you want to take on next.
- Your location and working preferences.
- Anything that would make an opportunity a clear no.
2. Review opportunities
When Standout finds a promising fit, you receive the role and company context needed to decide whether you want to explore it. You are always in control of that decision.
Interested means you would like to start a conversation—not that you have accepted anything. Passing helps your agent understand what to look for next.
3. Meet the company
When both sides are interested, Standout helps make the introduction and keeps the process moving. Depending on the opportunity, you may be invited to a short call or asked to pick a convenient time to talk.
Keep your preferences current
Your goals can change. Update your profile and preferences from your Standout account whenever your availability, location, or ideal role changes.
