This role is for a German-speaking Sales Development Representative at fonio, owning the German top-of-funnel and turning inbound leads into qualified demos for Account Executives. You’ll work closely with marketing and the sales team to optimize outreach, build sequences, and help shape SDR processes in a fast-growing startup— with clear upside to move into a closer role.
What youll do • Own the entire German-speaking top-of-funnel from first contact to qualified demo handoff. • Qualify inbound leads generated by marketing and prioritize follow-up. • Execute multi-channel outreach across phone, email, LinkedIn, and test new channels. • Build, test, measure, and iterate outreach sequences and hypotheses. • Contribute to continuous improvement of SDR workflows and processes. • Support onboarding of new customers as part of the handover process. • Progress toward becoming an Account Executive by delivering top performance. What fonio is looking for • 1+ years of sales experience, ideally in outbound or telesales and preferably B2B SaaS. • Native-level German with confident phone presence. • Strong spoken and written English (company language). • Competitive, output-driven mindset and motivation by uncapped commission. • Experience with multi-channel outreach and cadence/sequence design. • Ability to hypothesize, run experiments, and iterate based on results. • Comfortable working in a fast-growing startup and shaping SDR processes. • Desire and potential to advance from SDR to Account Executive within months.
