This role leads fonio’s paid acquisition efforts on Google Ads, scaling campaigns across multiple markets and driving measurable growth. You’ll be part of a performance marketing team focused on rigorous testing, accountable budget management, and cross-functional collaboration to improve acquisition and conversion outcomes.
What youll do • Build, structure, and continuously optimize Google Ads campaigns across international markets. • Manage large paid budgets with full accountability and a performance-first mindset. • Own tracking and conversion setup including Tag Manager, Search Console, and offline uploads. • Design and run systematic tests of new campaign structures and landing pages. • Extract learnings from experiments, iterate quickly, and deliver measurable impact. • Scale campaigns internationally while adapting strategies to different market dynamics. • Collaborate closely with the Performance Marketing team and Go-to-Market managers. What fonio is looking for • Proven experience running international Google Ads campaigns and adapting to market differences. • Demonstrated experience managing large ad budgets (currently ~€150k+ monthly, scaling toward €1M/month). • Strong analytical, structured, and performance-driven mindset with a bias for testing and iteration. • Hands-on experience with tracking and attribution tools (e.g., Google Tag Manager, Search Console, offline conversion uploads). • Excellent English communication skills; German language skills are a strong plus.
