About the role
What we're looking for
We need a full-stack engineer with 5+ years of experience (flexible for exceptional AI-native candidates) who has shipped products end-to-end at early-stage startups and built real products on top of LLMs. You should be comfortable with high ownership on a small team, moving fast in ambiguity, and integrating AI into production workflows.
What you'll do:
- Own the AI stack for freight — build agents, carrier sales automation, quoting systems, and email triage/routing using LLMs and agentic workflows
- Set the technical foundation from the ground up — architecture decisions, deployment, tooling, CI/CD, and engineering culture
- Build fraud prevention systems to catch and mitigate load theft across dozens of fraud vectors
- Deeply embed with freight brokers — join their calls, watch them work, and turn that understanding into software that changes how they operate
- Partner with the Head of Product on what to build, what to buy, and how to integrate it — you'll have a real seat at the table on business direction
- Ship fast with tight feedback loops measured in hours, not sprints — take ideas from prototype to production with real users
