Fort is a San Francisco-based wearables company.
We are building a premium health tracking device for people who want to keep their bodies strong and capable for life. Fort helps people understand their training, recovery, and progress in a way that feels clear, useful, and motivating.
We care about creating a product and brand that feel refined, human, and deeply useful: part health companion, part beautiful object, part new ritual for strength and longevity.
Fort is looking for a Social Media Content Producer to shape and grow our social presence across TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and founder-led channels.
This role is for someone who understands luxury wellness, boutique fitness, hospitality, visual storytelling, and internet-native content.
You’ll help define how Fort shows up in the world: beautiful training spaces, thoughtful wellness rituals, intimate community moments, premium product storytelling, founder perspective, and the craft behind building a new health wearable.
Some content will still show the process of building Fort, especially where technical excellence matters: motion sensing, product testing, materials, hardware design, machine learning, app experience, and the care behind the device. But the center of gravity should be the world Fort is creating around strength, health, beauty, and long-term capability.
4+ years of experience in social media, content production, digital storytelling, creator work, or a related field.
Experience creating content for a brand, founder, creator, hospitality group, wellness company, fitness brand, fashion/beauty brand, or premium consumer product.
Strong short-form video instincts: hooks, pacing, structure, subtitles, retention, and native platform feel.
A strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and how content spreads.
Excellent writing skills and the ability to turn raw ideas into clear, engaging social copy.
Strong taste across visuals, editing, storytelling, music, interiors, people, product moments, and internet culture.
Comfort filming real people and real moments without making them feel overly staged.
Ability to manage multiple content projects, timelines, drafts, feedback, publishing needs, and performance reviews.
A genuine interest in fitness, wellness, strength training, recovery, premium consumer products, hospitality, and culture.
A thoughtful approach to performance data: you know how to study what worked and turn it into better creative.
Beautiful gyms, boutique studios, wellness spaces, and recovery environments.
Fort-hosted workouts, dinners, community gatherings, and product feedback events.
Product-on-body moments that show Fort as part of a daily wellness ritual.
Customer, coach, creator, and athlete conversations.
Strength, longevity, recovery, and capability education.
Premium product storytelling: materials, design, fit, finish, and wearability.
Technical craft where it matters: motion sensing, IMU data, exercise detection, app experience, machine learning, testing, and hardware development.
Founder perspective on product quality, design decisions, and building with care.
IRL event recaps.
Quiet behind-the-scenes moments from building Fort.
San Francisco preferred. New York/LA also ok.
