Pro Bono:

Pro bono cases we represent include employment advice for smaller non-profits and micro-businesses, military veteran clinic representation (excluding employment advice), asylum and related cases, domestic violence restraining orders, court-appointed representation of minors in family law proceedings, Innocence Project case screenings, Community Legal Aid eviction defense and expungement clinics, and ABA Free Legal Answers projects (excluding employee-side employment advice), with other types of pro bono work considered.

The FP Cares Pay It Forward Pro Bono Incentive: For attorneys, including associates, of counsel, and income partners, who complete 50+ hours of firm-approved pro bono work are eligible. For each qualifying attorney, FP Cares will donate $2,500 to a Firm-approved non-profit organization selected by the attorney. Does not apply to Equity Partners.

Days of Service Challenge: Local FP Cares offices organize community service activities from January to March, with 20+ offices and 200+ staff participating in 2024; encourages team building and camaraderie.

CureSearch + FP Week of Impact: Raising funds for CureSearch and launching “Week of Impact,” where every office participated in creating 3,000+ handmade "notes of hope" for children battling cancer, distributed to pediatric cancer units nationwide.
