About the role
Purpose of the Role
The Operations Manager is a mission-critical role at Enerjazz, responsible for ensuring smooth, end-to-end operations from e-rickshaw onboarding and cash management to vendor and production coordination. You will manage cross-functional workflows, solve ground-level challenges, and build processes that enable fast, efficient scale-up—impacting everything from customer experience to business growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. E-rickshaw Onboarding & Field Operations
- Own the full onboarding process for new e-rickshaw customers—including documentation, orientation, and technology enablement.
- Oversee the timely activation and handover of batteries to end users, ensuring a smooth customer experience.
2. Cash Management & Control
- Coordinate daily cash collections and deposits from the field team, ensuring proper accounting and reconciliation.
- Implement controls and processes for handling, tracking, and reporting all cash flows related to battery distribution and swaps.
3. Vendor Management (Welding & Repairs)
- Manage relationships with welding vendors and service providers; ensure timely repair, retrofitting, or customization of rickshaws as per requirements.
- Monitor service quality, resolve escalations, and optimize vendor performance for cost and turnaround time.
4. Logistics, Production & Warehouse Coordination
- Liaise closely with the production and warehouse teams to align battery inventory, shipment schedules, and last-mile logistics.
- Ensure accurate tracking of stock movements, timely dispatch, and issue resolution for delivery/returns.
