What we're looking for? (1-3 sentences)
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Lending Associate Attorney with 3-7 years of substantive experience in transactional commercial lending and real estate financing. You should be comfortable drafting and negotiating complex loan documents, managing multiple transactions simultaneously, and be willing to contribute to business development. A strong connection to Minnesota is required.
What you'll do:
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial loan documents, including credit agreements, security agreements, and guaranties.
- Take ownership of real estate financing transactions, managing everything from mortgage documentation to title review and lien perfection.
- Work closely with partners, clients, and borrower's counsel to advise on commercial lending matters and drive transactions to a successful close.
- Analyze and manage UCC Article 9 secured transactions, including perfection and priority issues.
- Handle due diligence for various lending transactions to identify and mitigate risk.
- Develop client relationships and contribute to the growth of the practice by building a modest book of business over time.
