About Us
At FurtherAI, we're building the AI agents that run insurance - a trillion-dollar industry still powered by manual work. By combining frontier agentic AI with deep domain expertise, we're reshaping how the industry's most critical work gets done.
We've raised more than $30M from top investors (Andreessen Horowitz, YC, Nexus, South Park Commons), grown more than XY00% in the last 12 months, and work with some of the largest names in insurance - top 10 carriers/brokers, F100 & public companies.
We are a deeply technical company. Both founders are engineers, and engineers have an outsized say on product direction.
Now, we're looking for an exceptional AI Engineer to join our agent team and shape both our product and how we build agents.

What We’re Looking For
Note that this is not a model-training role - you’ll be building orchestration and reasoning systems on top of existing LLMs (think Claude-Code over Claude-Model).
At FurtherAI, we set a high bar. We’re not looking for someone who just wants a job. We’re looking for someone who wants to build something transformative. If you thrive in environments where the pace is fast, expectations are high, and the rewards are outsized, you’ll love it here.
You can look forward to the following benefits:
FurtherAI is a domain-specific AI for the insurance industry. Backed by top investors including a16z, Y Combinator, Nexus, South Park Commons, and Converge, FurtherAI supports customers writing over $15B in premiums across all 50 states.
Our AI Assistant automates complex workflows like submission intake, policy comparisons, and underwriting audits—making teams faster, smarter, and more efficient.
Leading insurers, reinsurers, MGAs, and brokers rely on FurtherAI to drive better decisions at scale.

No applications, no recruiter spam. Just the intro.
A few questions to make sure this role is the right shape for you. Two minutes.
I write the intro, send it to the founder, and handle the back-and-forth.
If they’re a yes, I book the chat. You show up — that’s the whole job-hunt.
